This application enables the inventory of roads, bridges, culverts manholes, sewers, facilities and any number of asset types. Bolstered by its additional software extenders this module is also capable of condition inspections, preventive maintenance, parent-child asset linkage, budget optimization, needs forecasting and budgeting, best practices analysis, asset deterioration profiles, life-cycle management and Geographic Information System integration.

 

  • Track unlimited features and attributes specific to each user-defined asset type
  • Use a single data repository of all assets owned from multiple asset types including facilities, roads, water mains, pipes, transmission lines, Right-of-Ways and more. Define the level and type of detail to be tracked by asset type and customize the entry screen for each type.
  • Use linear referencing to locate layered and linear assets. Find the location of one or more assets in relation to a Right of Way’s beginning and end point. Identify the location of subsurface assets without maps or pictures.
  • Use file referencing to attach files from external applications to one or more items in the asset repository. Linked files can be video files, images and any other file that can be opened using any accessible third- party application.
  • Perform complete asset condition inspections using defined condition rating formats and calculation methodologies including industry standards such as OSIM, RIMS, PCI, FCI etc.

 

  • Create multiple reports relaying the condition of assets, last maintenance activities performed, specifications and attributes and images.  Perform ad-hoc queries on reports to extract specific data. Mass generate reports for an asset type or assets grouped by other criteria.
  • Using Service Manager Foundation, assign a work order or service request to an asset. All work orders completed and in progress for that asset appear on a history log and are available for querying. Costs posted against the work order and job are also reflected on the asset. 
  • Create graphs and charts of assets or asset data through simple point and click action. Graphs can be printed right from the application and  require no other third party export.
  • Generate multi-year plans for asset repairs, rehabilitation and replacement.
  • When used in conjunction with Work Manager Foundation and Service Manager Foundation, Asset Manager Foundation enables cost reporting and asset maintenance using work orders.
